About Clapp Research Group
The public operations companies of The Clapp Research Group include Clapp Research Associates, P.C. (CRA) and Clapp Research, Inc (CRI). The primary thrust of the combined efforts of The Clapp Research Group is to assist those responsible for designing, constructing, operating, and maintaining electric supply and communication systems in assuring that:

Clapp Research Associates, P.C.
Clapp Research Associates, P.C. is chartered in North Carolina as a professional corporation licensed to provide engineering and land surveying services. CRA’s clients include over 400 public and private utilities, utility associations, contractors, industries, government organizations, and individuals in 50 states and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
CRA's services include review/development of utility standards for construction, operation and maintenance, product development and testing, accident investigation and reconstruction, mediation and arbitration. CRA engineers provide training through The Power & Communication Utility Training Center.
Power & Communication Utility Training Center
The Power & Communication Utility Training Center division of Clapp Research, Inc. provides safety and design related training to power, telephone, CATV and railroad utility system personnel. PCUTC utilizes the services of engineers from Clapp Research Associates, P.C. and other companies to provide both in-house and public training.
Utility Bookstore
The Utility Bookstore division of Clapp Research, Inc. sells design manuals, safety training materials, videos, software, standards, and other resources related to design, communication, operation and maintenance of utility lines and equipment from a variety of sources.

Clapp Research, Inc. (CRI Designs) produces and maintains web sites, brochures, databases, training, newsletters, and other support documents and software systems for a wide variety of businesses.
